and as of 1953 he was practising law with the firm of Guy, Chappel, DuVal
and McCrea in WInnipeg. One of the partners of that firm, Robert
DuVal, was a brother in law of Corrine Kerfoot a member of the Virginia
branch of the Kerfoots. There is no known direct link to the Kerfoots of
this geneological family although they came from the British Isles and
it seems a reasonable assumption that they all stem from the same source.
